All purchases charged in GB Pounds. International orders, Remember to check the total in your own currency. We will always bill you in GB Pounds. Your card provider will bill you in your local currency.

PLEASE NOTE: No order may be accepted from a child of 16 or under without the express consent of a parent or guardian.

Online credit card and PayPal orders will be normally despatched the next working day after ordering (this means orders placed on Friday may not be despatched until Monday). Orders using other payment methods (ie cheque, postal order) will be sent when payment has cleared.

Delivery time within the UK is usually the next day after despatch (1st Class Post) or 2 to 5 working days for larger, heavier orders (Royal Mail Standard Parcel). International orders on average take 3 to 11 working days. If you have not received your order within (UK orders) 10 working days (or 28 days for international orders), please contact us so we can sort it out.
If you are ordering for delivery to a Country outside of the EU you may be liable to pay Customs import duty and taxes. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Returns Policy: We will refund goods that are sent back to us within 14 working days of receipt of the goods and are in a re-saleable condition. Confirmation of cancellation of orders must be sent to us in writing by letter, fax or email. If goods are damaged on receipt, please keep damaged goods and contact us immediately.

You will not receive junk email, regular mail or unsolicited phone calls as a result of buying from Mariposa Alternative Bodycare.
We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

This site does use cookies but only in order for the shopping cart to function and have no other purpose.

We request information from customers on our order form.  Here customers must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date).  This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders.  If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with a customer.
We conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - 128 bit SSL On arriving at the payment page, you will see a little padlock item appear at the bottom cormer of your browser (or at the top next to the URL).  This means the page and the information you enter is secure.

For added security, we do not store your credit card details and any card details taken by phone or fax are shredded (and composted!) after use.
